About Scans

What to Know

Precautions

Patients with pacemakers/defibrillators will NOT be scanned at this facility due to lack of resources. Please clear electronic implants and aneurysm clips with the technologist prior to scheduling your exam. It is helpful to send an implant card for us to review prior to your appointment. Most non electronic orthopedic implants are allowed into the scanner.

Day of MRI

All patients are required to complete and sign a screening questionnaire prior to entering the magnet room. These forms are necessary for your safety and protection. Some surgical implants are not safe to enter the magnetic field; therefore, we ask for your cooperation completing this form as accurately as possible.
